I sometimes see the Russian invasion of Ukraine as the start of a proxy civil war within the G8 (G9?), what passes for global governance in a failing world. Hopefully all parties will realize the energy value of the nuclear material should not be wasted on war but rather used to help survival (after the material is reprocessed) during the Ecological Overshoot Unraveling.
honestly in my opinion it will not happen if the wind is not good if they bomb nato more likely belgium because we are the main city for europe they will get it all in there face if the wind turns !
It seems that off and on, from certain quarters we have been seeing attempts to paint nuclear war as acceptable, survivable, and winnable. One such attempt was the novel "2034: A Novel of the Next World War" that was co-authored by Admiral James Stavridis, where a limited nuclear exchange occurs and we are asked to believe that this is plausible. I am more persuaded by the recent book "Nuclear War: A Scenario" by Annie Jacobsen, which shows just how what starts out as a limited exchange involving nuclear weapons can easily end up in a world-destroying conflagration.
I find it intriguing that the same people lecturing us on the need to preserve the Earth's environment and conserve energy and resources are totally supportive of the most environmentally destructive, energy consuming, and resource wasteful activity known to man.

Big wars happen when big-owners and big-financiers want them to happen.
The "appearance" is not ever the cause.

Indeed, we probably need a miracle.

Ah, well, at the beginning they said it was enough to hide under a desk!
