I have just read the first half of "exterminations". Really good! While I already knew most of things you wrote, nevertheless I like very much the style and the way they are collected. Do you plan to make an italian version? I have a number of friends that can't speak the imperial language :-)
The same kind f propaganda is at work on the French media. With varying degrees of subtlety.
The other day, a TV commentator was cheerfully claiming that rearmament would be a good thing as it would revive European economic growth the way it did in the 50's for the USA.
Fantastic indeed !
But of course and quite conveniently, nobody mentioned that economic growth depends above all on energy availability, not that much what it's used for, be it tanks, cars or hospitals...
"On March 15, 2025 (“Radiant March”?), an Italian journalist and left-wing politician named Michele Serra called for a popular demonstration to support the European Commission’s plan to rearm Europe."
I'm no friend of weapons and their moneyed manufacturers, so I offer this by way of explanation, rather than approval.
I see this largely due to the US capitulation as the world's defender of freedom. (Not that such was ever abundantly evident!)
Would Europe (and Italy) be so willing to rearm if, from tens of thousands of kilometres away, the US had not cozied up to the wolf at Europe's door?
I think that the instability of the US government is as much a cause of Europe's interest in re-arming as any "propaganda". The Idiot-In-Chief outright said he would consider military action to acquire a Danish protectorate! And meanwhile, Ukraine is perceived as "the thin edge of the wedge" on the other side.
Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney says Canada's old relationship with the US "is over". That's an astounding statement!
If propaganda has a significant voice in Europe's rearming, it would be in getting a majority of US voters to put a misogynist, racist, imperialist, lying felon in the White House.
It's often been said, "Everything Hîtler did was legal." Gawd I hope they don't say that about the US someday.
If we could send our low iq/easily suggestible retards into the grinder without going nuclear I’d be genuinely pro war as a eugenic method.
If your dupe population takes a massive fucking haircut then very interesting things will happen to your nation.
In Europe’s case they’d do the opposite by sending all the white boys to die. They end their nations in a matter of years instead of decades. A la Ukraine.
I am somewhat hopeful that events are moving too fast on the battlefield these days for mass-indoctrination for war to catch up. 2030 looks ambitious for European industry, but 4 years too late for the Ukraine war, and European banking investments in it.
The indoctrination and military spending may well be used against European citizens, but it may also be a bit late to stuff those cats back into the bag.
A critical mass of societal common-knowledge may be unattainable, as it was unattainable for de-personing "the unvaccinated" in the US in 2021-2022.
Take into account that six months of propaganda were sufficient to indoctrinate Italians to the point of turning them from peace-lovers into rabid warmongers and pacifist-haters. I don't think the Europeans of today are smarter than the Italians of 1914-1915
It’s striking how this same type of propaganda is being echoed across all major Spanish media outlets. The ruling Socialist Party is leading a strong pro-war narrative—now barely contested by their coalition partner, Sumar. Curiously, this widespread campaign doesn't seem to be clearly funded, yet it’s spreading rapidly across Europe. One wonders how such coordinated messaging emerges so seamlessly across supposedly independent platforms.
I don't believe the Ukrainians needed Italian encouragement; that was provided by a Russian dictator who launched an invasion. The bone chilling video of hundreds of thousands of Russians marching through Moscow mindlessly supporting their dictator's plan to send their sons off to die for his territorial ambitions totally supports your argument.
There is an excellent example how NATO turned Sweden against Soviets by fabricating propaganda stories about Soviet submarines while in fact, if there was submarines in the first place, they were more likely Italian. There is also his book about it. Here you have link: https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=ola+ulander+neutrality+studies

A lot of people have wised up through alternative media. A certain critical-mass of rabies is necessary, it seems, to turn a society wholly to mayhem.
We are sand in the machine, Brother.
;-/
I hope so. But for what I am reading, people keep retelling me what they read in the state media. Even in the comments of this blog!
I am aware of the feeling, and the accusation that "you won't listen to MY ideas".
