System Dynamics is Alive and Well
Next Week, the 2026 International System Dynamics Conference in Delft, the Netherland
Next week, the 2026 International System Dynamics Conference will be held in Delft, the Netherlands. It is organized by the System Dynamics Society, an entity that goes back to the glorious times of Jay Forrester and the group at MIT that produced the 1972 report “The Limits to Growth.” System dynamics is still alive and well, and this conference promises to be very interesting.
I will be there to present the latest Club Report, “The End of Population Growth.” Here it is, with a new front cover that will replace the old one that we found to be a little gloomy.

I’ve Diaried it. Hope it achieves your desires Ugo.
And I hope all attendees if they haven’t already, get to view Dr. Sofia Pineda Ochoa’s documentary film “GREENWASHED | Full Documentary [Official]” on YouTube. To me it should be compulsory viewing for anyone discussing the taboo subject of population. The docu-film is in 5 parts, so as it’s a near 3 hour film it would probably be best viewed in 2 or 3 sessions, and 4 or more for those who now commonly suffer from ADHD. If they don’t then it’s just brushing the subject of population under the table🤔
dear professor ugo bardi are we still declining through fewer birth's and older people living longer or will we stil go down because resource collapse malthusian collapse or running out of fossil fuels ?
